Bella Onyx

Bella Onyx is an S-class Mage of the Fairy Tail Guild wherein she is the leader of Team Bella and a part time member of Team Natsu. She is among the ten Dragon Slayers sent to the future from 400 years past to assist in the defeat of Acnologia. She serves as a love interest for Rogue Cheney.

Appearance

Bella has slanted, slit pupiled, deep purple eyes and frizzy/curly black hair which she normally keeps in a high ponytail with one curly strand hanging in her face. She has tanned skin. Her guild mark is located on her right shoulder blade and is purple in color. Her patona mark is located on her right shoulder abd is the same color as her guild mark. She gained a large, lightning shaped scar on her back after she fought Gajeel Redfox. Like other Dragon Slayers, her teeth are distinctively canine sharp.

Bella's gear consists of a long sleeved black shirt, a cropped purple flak jacket with attached shoulder pads, pale yellow bracers made of dragon hide, baggy black sweatpants with purple lining, and black boots. She has a gun holster around each of her upper thighs.

After the timeskip, Bella's gear has undergone some changes. Her black shirt is now sleevless and backless, and the flak jacket is backless as well, showing off her guild mark and scar. She wears black arm warmers. Her weapon has changed to black and gold gauntlets with "stingers" covering her middle fingers on either forearm. She also wears black leather gloves that reach her wrist.

During the Grand Magic Games, Bella wears a long, hooded, black coat. The inside of it is deep purple. The Fairy Tail symbol is embroidered on the right breast. She wore two purple, belt like straps over each of her shoulders. Her weapon is a katana with a black handle. She discards the coat at the beginning of her match with Kagura Mikazuchi. Her hair is oushed out of her face due to the intensity of the games.

On the final day of the Grand Magic Games, Bella "armors up" a bit more. Her flak jacket is now a piece of purple and gold chest armor and she wears a purple helmet that covers her forehead with a gold wing like design. She also gains gold armor around her boots. She also wears purple and gold shoulder pads and a gold trimmed black cape. Her armor is made of light weight metal and do not hold her back from using her full power. She also has her hair in a more neat high ponytail that is curled neatly, unlike her previous messy hairstyles.

When taking down the dark guild Shadow Hunter, Bella switches back to her revised gear.

Later, during the war against Tartaros, Bella wears a blue-violet sleeveless, backless shirt and dark gray leggings tucked into tall black boots. She wears black arm warmers and a black Magic Cloak. Her weapons are two katanas in sheaths strapped to her back.

Personality

Bella is fearless and loyal with a fiery temper and an impulsive streak. She is not someone to be underestimated. She is a stoic woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Her presence is described as a lightning bolt. She becomes irked when people remark that she resembles Gray Fullbuster. Bella is a friend of Erza, but does not like it when Erza seems heartless. The two are considered the strongest female members of Fairy Tail.

Bella can be serious if she wants to, and she despises perverts. This leads her to hit Gray Fullbuster everytime he removes his clothes in front of her. This does not mean she hates Gray; during the mission on Galuna Island she became upset when he planned to use Ice Shell and was relieved he was alright after the battle.

Bella is a also a smart and caring person, shown when she knew it was impossible to kill a dragon with Dragon Slayer magic and still didnt see why they needed to kill innocent dragons, a trait that Blitz has admired in her foster daughter.

Bella is rather good with words. She knows just what to say to rile an opponent upz shown when she states Zeus didnt need to waste his magic power fighting Sting Eucliffe in the streets. She enjoys teasing Sting.

Bella can be quite nasty when she's angry. She is one of the top Mages in Fairy Tail. She was an S-class Mage in the Wild Hunt, Fairy Tail, and Sabertooth, proving she is a strong Mage. She had achieved S-class in Faory Tail without Dragon Slayer Magic, since she was concealing it for the time being.

Titania of Sabertooth looked mean and intimidating, but her kind heart won her over each time. Every morning from 8:00-9:00, she'll jump onto the roof of the guild hall and cry -Pikkolo Samon regarding Bella at Sabertooth

After the disbandment of Fairy Tail, Bella joined Sabertooth. Even though her new guild was a nice guild, she would still always be a fairy of Fairy Tail. Pikkolo Samon describes her as tough on the outside but kind on the inside. It is revealed for one hour in the morning every day, Bella climbs on top of the guild hall and mourns for the guildmates she left behind.

Magic and Abilities

Lightning Magic: Bella's first form of magic was lightning magic. She can create, control, and manipulate lightning, natrual or magical. Her spells utilize lightning.

• Lightning Resistance: Bella is immune to the effects of most lightning spells. In a battle, the more she has to resist, the less resisant she becomes until lightning spells take full effect. It often does not come to this point. Since she had Dragon Slayer Magic, she can consume lightning to gain strength and stamina as well as heal wounds.
• Electrifying Jolt: Bella charges her hand with lightning to fire at the opponents. She can control how much power she puts into it.
• Lightning Ninja Blades: Bella turns in a circle and shoots out bolts of lightning in all directions. This spell is extremely hard to control.
• Thunder Palace: Bella has a very incomplete Thunder Palace. She can summon a few Lightning Lacrima that go off when she wants them too. She doesn't always use Body Link magic.
• Electrifying Defense: Bella used this technique once when creating a barrier with Gajeel. After Gajeel created iron pillars to block the path, Bella charged them with lightning that electrocutes anyone who comes too close.
• Lightning Lance: Bella creates a Lance made of lightning to impale one or more opponents.
• Lightning Shield: Bella creates a shield made entirely of lightning.
• Thunder Quake: Bella punches the ground with her right hand and the ground shakes, cracks, and lightning emerges to electrocute the enemy.
• Thunder Kick: Bella kicks the air in the direction of her opponent. A lightning vortex shoots out of her leg toward the enemy and hits it.

Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic: Bella is a First Generation Kightning Dragon Slayer. She learned to use Lightning Dragon Slayer during her years with Blitz, deeming her as the actual Lightning Dragon Slayer since Laxus Dreyar only had a Lacrima implanted in him, and therefore was a member of the Second Generation. Bella can consume lightning to restor her strength and stamina as well as heal wounds. She can absorb lightning spells to make her power stronger. Her lightning can set flames and is attracted to iron, such as Gajeel Redfox.

• Lightning Dragon Roar: Bella's best Dragon Slayer move. She can gather and release lightning from her mouth at the opponent. It has eniugh raw power to go up against Wind Magic.
• Lightning Dragon Iron Fist: Bella covers her fist with lightning befpre punching the opponent.
• Lightning Dragon Crushing Fang: Bella coats her hands in lightning, Bella slashes the enemy to electrocute them.
• Lightning Dragon Sword Horn: Bella covers her entire body with lightning while attacking her enemy.
• Lightning Dragon Thunder Star: Bella emits a great amount of lightning. It surrounds her body in the shape of a star. It electrocutes the opponent when Bella punches or kicks.
• Lightning Dragon Thunder Bolt: Bella creates two orbs of lightning around her hand. She can shoot out ribbons of lightning at the enemy to attack them.
• Lightning Dragon Wings: Bella creates a pair of wings that allow her to fly short distances when Zeus can't.

Lightning Shadow Dragon Mode: After eating Rogue Cheney's shadows, Bella had gained free access to Lightning Shadow Dragon Mode, which is her original Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic enhanced with shadows. She gains the ability to become a shadow. As a shadow, she can do things her physical body would not be able to handle, such as breathing underwater or going through the hottest flames unscathed.

• Lightning Shadow Dragon Roar: Bella releases a large amount of lightning amd shadows from her mouth. This is even more powerful and destructive than her original Lightning Dragon Roar. It destroyed half of the battle site where she fought Rogue.
• Lightning Shadow Dragon Iron Fist: an ehanced version of Lightning Dragon Iron Fist. First, Bella coats her fist with lightning, then adds shadows to them. It was enough to send a possessed Rogue flying a few yards.

Storm Magic: Bella is a Storm Mage, even though she uses mostly lightning, as she sees this is the most effective of all natrual disasters she can muster.

• Lightning: Bella can create and manipulate lightning. Her spells are enchanced when using real lightning.
• Other precipitation: Bella has shown use of the other forms of precipitation (hail more than others). She normally sticks with lightning though.

Requip: Bella uses two basic forms of Requip. She can Requip her current outfit to her gear, as well as Requipping the two pistols into a variety of weapons. She can also fuse two weapons into one big superweapon, but it takes a lot of magic energy.

• Requip: Swords: Bella Requips two black swords with gold handles and purple gems set in the handle.
• Requip: Rapier: Bella Requips two rapiers with dragon claw like decor on the handle.
• Requip: Pistols: Bella Reqips two regular pistols that use magic energy bullets rather than regular bullets.
• Requip: Stingers: Bella Requips two black and gold gauntlet like weapons with a "stinger" at the middle finger.
• Requip: Dagger: Bella Requips two silver daggers.
• Requip: Bow: Bella Requips a bow. When she prepares to fire, an arrow of magic energy materializes for her to shoot
• Requip: Katana: Bella Requips two katana with a silver and purple checker pattern on the handle.
• Requip: Kun: Bella Requips a kun, a traditional Japanese wooden conbat staff.
• Requip: Kusarigma: Bella Requips a kusarigma, except it has a single blade rather than a scythe at the end.
• Requip: Scythe: Bella Requips a large scythe with the handle wrapped in gold ribbon.
  • Requip: Double Bladed Scythe: Bella's scythe gains a second blade.
• Requip: Double Bladed Sword: Bella Requips a double bladed sword with a purple handle.
• Requip: Axes: Bella Requips two single bladed axes with bronze handles.
  • Requip: Giant Axe: Bella Requips a large axe twice her size. She doesnt seem affected by the immense weight.
• Requip: Kunai: Bella summons multiple kunai to fire at a target.
• Requip: Shuriken: Bella summons multiple shuriken to fire at a target.

Master Hand to Hand Combatant: Bella is a master hand to hand combatant, magic or not. She can hold her own in battle. She is very strong and agile and noemally deals aggressive, direct attacks at opponents. She is shown to kick and punch at a rapid pace. She can punch hard enough to knock someone out. She is shown to be durable, shown when she was able to land softly from a fall and kick in a circle during her battle against Terra Carbonne. Bella is able to do many flips and other acrobatic moves at a rapid pace.

Master Swordsman Specialist: Bella is not a user of Sword Magic, but rather, a Requip weapon Mage, but she is shown to be able to spar evenly against specialists like Erza Scarlet, Panther Lily, and Bella Soloh. She is officially classified as an expert. She able to Requip her weapons in a matter of seconds. She can alsi hold her won in battle using her stingers, which are smaller weapons.

Expert Weapon Specialist: Bella is able to keep up with some Master Weapon Specialists, but she is an expert Weapon Specialist. She was shown to be able to defeat the master Soloh, as well as break Terra's rocks. She also defeated every monster Fleyta Samon summoned.

Enhanced Durability: Bella has a formidable amount of stamina without her abilities as a Dragon Slayer. During the battle against Oracion Seis, Bella was beaten by Zero and still was able to go to one of the Lacrima and destroy it with her lightning.

Enhanced Strength: Bella has shown an immense amount of strength. When fighting against Phantom Lord, she was able to throw several men back. She was able to destroy Bella Soloh's Lightning Rod in its released state.

Enhanced Speed: Bella is very fast, and some say she is as fast as lightning. This could be a reference to her Lightning Dragon Slayer magic. Her reflexes are excellent, seeing that she was able to block Terra Carbonne's attack when it was coming from behind.

Enhanced Smell: Like other Dragon Slayers, Bella's sense of smell is enhanced. Once she is around a person, she permanently has their scent memorized in her system. She says nothing can trick her nose. She could use her sense of smell to track Terra and Rogue during the Grand Magic Games.

Enhanced Hearing: Bella has keen hearing. She could expertly eavesdrop on a conversation between some of the Shadow Hunter mages.

History

Bella originally came from a village that believed they could defeat dragons without Dragon Slayer Magic. Bella was a dragon hunter like her late parents before her, but deep down she knew it was impossible. One day while standing on a high cliff, she was approached by the Lightning Dragon Blitz. Bella chose not to kill her, and she gained Blitz's trust. She decided to leave her home to train with Blitz.

Blitz was a foster mother to Bella. She taught Bella Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic as well as hand to hand combat. Blitz practically raised Bella, until one day.

Blitz was left in a half dead state by Acnologia. She joined in a plan involving Igneel, Natsu Dragneel, Metallicana, Gajeel Redfox, Grandeeney, Wendy Marvell, Weisslogia, Sting Eucliffe, Skiadrum, Rogue Cheney, Zeref Dragneel, amd Anna Heartfilia. She used the Dragon Soul Technique and used Bella's body as a vessel, so Bella would not suffer the same fate as Acnologia and so Blitz could heal, but it didn't go as planned. Going through the Eclipse Gate, Bella's memory was altered into believing Blitz left.

Bella lived by herself the same village as Gray Fullbuster until the demon Deliora destroyed the village. Bella was presumed dead as a large hunk of rock fell on top of her, but she was found by Ur and her students. Having nothing left, Bella ran away from the ruins of the village.

After the village's destruction, Bella roamed Fiore, searching for Blitz. She hatched her Exceed companion, Zeus, and the two looked her Blitz together. Bella was taken under the tutelage of Rosalynn Stormthorn, a member of the guild Wild Hunt, which became Bella's first guild. Rosalynn taught Bella more advanced magic. When Rosalynn died, Bella inherited her Opening Key.

Three years prior to the beginning of the series, Bella left the Wild Hunt along with Zeus, then joined Fairy Tail. Bella beat up Jace Dispel, and formed her own team consisting of herself, Jace, Zeus, Han Gauss, the twins Isaiah and Jedediah Backburn, Maryse Greenwood, and Sandra Skyheart.

Synopsis

Galuna Island Arc

One morning everyone wakes up to find out that an S-class job request has been stolen. Makarov sends Gray to bring Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia, the culprits of the missing request, back and he drags Bella along.

Later, Gray ambushes Natsu and Lucy while they asked the sailor Bobo for transportation to Galuna Island. Bella prepares to intervene in Natsu and Gray's clash, which Bobo sees and decided to take the Mages to Galuna Island.

On the boat, Bella wakes up with her hands tied. Bobo tells the Mages (save Natsu, who was suffering from motion sickness) about the curse on Galuna Island. After he shows them his demon arm, he disappeared, and a huge wave washes them ashore.

That night, they reach the village. The five witness the villagers transforming into demons under the light of the purple moon. The chief Moka gives them an impossible task: destroy the moon. However, the Mages decide not to destroy the moon, and Lucy suggests to investigate further on the situation.

Bella and the others head out to investigate the island and stumble across a giant rodent, but Bella and Gray easily defeat it. They find an old temple and inspect it, but Natsu stomps on the already unstable floor and causes them to fall down.

Further investigation leads to a frozen demon, one which Bella and Gray recognize as Deliora. They just then realize they subtly met as children, but before anything else, they hear people approaching and they have to hide.

The trio mentioned the Moon Drip, and their leader Reitei. After they leave, Gray and Bella explain about Deliora, while Gray goes into detail on how his mentor, Ur, sealed Deliora away in the ice at the cost of her own life. Bella recalls her own tutelage under the former S-class Wild Hunt Mage, Rosalynn Stormthorn and her fellow student Kaminari Kichiku. She states she hasnt seen Kaminari since they left the Wild Hunt guild, but believes she went to Lamia Scale.

Night falls and the Moon Drip is activated. The team follows the magic circles to find a ritual take place. The leader, Reitei, and his second in command, Raitoningu, issue the order to destroy the village.

Gray recognizes Reitei's voice, while Bella cant distinguish Raitonigu. Gray attacks Reitei who proceeds to defend himself. Raitonigu defends his leader, but Bella counters his Thunder Spell with her lightning. Gray reveals Reitei to be Lyon Vastia, his fellow pupil. Raitonigu reveals thag he is actually a woman, Kaminari Kichiku to be exact. It is the real Kaminari.

Enraged that Kaminari lied to her that she went to join Lamia Scale, Bella attacks her friend for allying herself with evil. Kaminari easily brushes the attack away, but Bella is not about to give up. Kaminari attacks Bella with so much thunder that her ears bleed. Bella suffers defeat, but Natsu, previously frozen by Lyon, carries both Gray and Bella back down to the village where they are healed

The next day they are fully healed. They arrive at a tent to find Erza Scarlet, Jace Dispel, and Zeus. Erza reprimands them for breaking the rules and attacks them, but Gray and Bella each grab one of Erza's swords. Bella states that she is an S-class Mage just like Erza is and can face her off anytime after the mission.

Bella and Gray rush to battle their rivals. They are stopped by Lyon's followers, but the others, save Natsu, decide to battle them. Bella and Gray find Natsu battling Lyon and Kaminari. Gray proceeds to use Ice Shell on the two. Bella tries to talk him out of it, but Gray tells her with a smile that her diplomacy and charisma is just as bad as ever, bringing Bella to tears. Natsu later stops Gray from using Ice Shell.

Bella takes on Kaminari in magic combat. They fire spell attacks at each other until they run low on magic energy. Kaminari draws her katana and Bella Requips two katanas, surprising Kaminari with this power. They fight sword to sword combat, until Bella has enough power to preform a Dragon Roar, defeating Kaminari.

Kaminari shows atonement for her actions, and the two pupils tearfully hug. Kaminari proceeds to ask Bella about the Dragon Roar, but Bella says its a secret.

Bella and Kaminari return tk the battle site of Gray and Lyon, where Gray has prevailed. A roar signals the release of Deliora, and Gray considers using Ice Shell. Bella this time hugs him and tries to get him to stop, saying she'd never forgive him if he did, while Kaminari awkwardly states Bella changed.

The three arrive where Deliora is. Gray prepares to preform Ice Shell, but Natsu says he'll fight Deliora. Deliora, however, fades away.

Before heading back to the village, and Gray and Bella suggest Lyon and Kaminari join a guild. Kaminari suggests Lamia Scale, and promises Bella that this time, she would actually join Lamia Scale. Smiling, Bella returns the village with the others.

All the way back, Bella thinks about Lyon's theory that the village is hiding something since he and his followers had been exposed to Moon Drip as long as the villagers had and never got disfigured. Erza asks the villagers a few questioned a deduces something. However, she Requips into Giant Armor and tells Bella and Natsu to hit the back of her spear at just the right time. Bella is confused but she does so, and everyone is surprised to see the sky shattering instead of the moon.

Erza begins to explain the Moon Drip side effects, and Bella catches on and helps explain. The Magic fades, but the villagers remain demons. Bella says that the temple was a holy place, and that guaranteed that demons were their true forms. Bobo comes to confirm it, saying he regained his memory but didnt want to scare the other villagers.

As they leave, the refuse the reward but take the zodiac gate key. Upon arriving back at the guild, they find it destroyed, abandoned, and impaled with metal poles. As they wonder who did this, lightning strikes and Bella screams a single name: Gajeel.

Phantom Lord arc

Zeus wonders about why Bella screamed the name. Bella explains Gajeel Redfox is the Iron Dragon Slayer of the dark guild Phantom Lord, and Mirajane Strauss confirms it. She then leads them to the Fairy Tail basement.

Lucy Heartfilia is reunited with her cousin Mercy Heartfilia. Bella makes friendship bonds with Mercy, who she find is alot like her. The next day, Gajeel has brutally attacked Team Shadow Gear. Makarov Dreyar declared war against Phantom Lord. Bella loudly proclaimed she is excited and cant wait to beat the snot out of Gajeel.

Bella beats a few Phantom Lord wizards before Gajeel shows his face. Bella joins the Dragon Slayers Natsu, Sebastian LeRoux, Naomi Dragneel, and Misty Swanson, since she is one of the only S-class wizards besides Erza who was actually there.

Bella uses her dangerous lightning magic against Gajeel, but he forces her back. She surprises everyone with her Requip power and fights a sword to sword battle with Gajeel, until he pins her to the wall and brutally carves a lightning bolt into her back.

Bella falls to the ground as Gajeel mocks her. Natsu attacks him to shut him up. Mercy asks Bella is shes okay, and she replies she just needs Maryse Greenwood to heal her. However, after Makarov is defeated by Aria, one of the elite Element 5, they are forces to retreat.

Maryse heals Bella's injury, but she says it will leave a scar. Bella brushes it off, saying she isnt afraid of scars. She is determined to defeat Phantom Lord no matter what the cost. The guild hall of Phantom is coming at them, and Bella rushes to defend the guild and Magnolia Town. The guild master of Phantom, Jose, fires the Jupiter Cannon. Erza Scarlet absorbs the blast with Adamantine Armor, but is heavily injured in the process. With Mystogan gone, Gildharts Clive on a century quest, Mirajane dormant magicwise, and Laxus Dreyar being a total asshole, Bella is the only S-class Mage left to battle Phantom.

Bella, Natsu, Gray, and Elfman run inside the guild hall to battle there. Natsu goes to destroy the Jupiter Cannon from the inside, and the others split up. Bella runs into one of the Element 5, an Ice Wizard named Fross.

Fross is a powerful wizard. Bella's magic cant manage to break through Fross's Glacier Magic. She the relies on the same Dragon Roar that defeated Kaminari, cracking Fross's shell. Fross bluffs that she has the ability to freeze people's hearts and then melt them to puddles. Bella retorts that if that happens, she will have no choice but to put Fross to death in retaliation. Both were bluffing, as Bella only slashed Forss across the chest but not mortally wounding her, claiming that if she should bluff, do it properly.

Bella hears that Gajeel has captured Lucy and hears her screams of pain. Bella screams for Gajeel tp always watch his back, for he will have no idea when she'll strike. Gajeel mocks her again, asking her how her back was.

As Gajeel is toturing Lucy, Bella and Natsu literally attack at the same time. Gajeel is facing a Dragon Slayer and S-class wizard. Bella helps Natsu fight until the clash of the Fire and Iron Dragon Roar. Natsu orders Bella to help Lucy get to safety. Zeus has perfect timing when he comes to pick up Bella and Happy takes Lucy.

Bella witnesses Makarov cast Faory Kaw, as well as Natsu and Gajeel's squabble. Bella lands back on land and Lucy apologizes for starting a war. Bella tells her its not her fault, while Makarov makes a speech that it wasnt anyone's fault.

Loke arc

Bella helps rebuild the guild hall. She is later seen helping the guild search for Loke when he disappeared.

Tower of Heaven arc

After the events of the previous arc, Team and Bella is helping rebuild the new guild hall, but they receive a distress call from Natsu Dragneel.

Bella, Jace Dispel, Han Gauss, Isaiah Backburn, Jedediah Backburn, Maryse Greenwood, and Sandra Skyheart travel across the water by canoe and miraculously catch up with Team Natsu minus Erza Scarlet plus Juvia Lockser. Bella recognizes Juvia as the Rain Woman of Phantom Lord, but Gray Fullbuster tells her that she's on their side now. They all inform the team of the current situation.

The guards are too many in number to sneak in, so Juvia suggests an underwater passage and makes water helmets for the others to breathe underwater, purposely making Lucy Heartfilia's smaller.

Erza suddenly appears and demanded that they leave, but they all refuse. She then proceeds to tell them about the R-system. Bella believes she can handle this, as an S-class wizard.

Bella helps take down Furuko, one of the Trinity Raven. She admits she got lost halfway through tje battle. Natsu and Bella then run through the tower, looking for Erza and Jellal Fernandez. The Etherion fires suddenly, but instead of total annihilation, the Tower of Heaven turns into a crystalline tower.

Bella and Natsu arrive just in time for Natsu to pull Erza out of the sacrifice site. After knocking Erza out, Bella and Natsu turn to face Jellal. Jellal states he cant wait to witness the power of a Dragon Slayer and an S-class wizard who is full of surprises.

Bella Requips a rapier to battle Jellal, deeming a sword too heavy. Natsu begins to attack the tower and tells Bella to do the same. Erza wakes up, and Jellal prepares to use a deadly spell that kills the target. Simon, Erza's old friend, intervenes and grts hit instead, losing his life in the process. Erza cries for her friend, and Bella is enraged at Jellal for laughing at Simon's sacrifice. Bella continuously attacks Jellal while Natsu eats Etherion, reaching his level of Dragon Force. Bella and Natsu simultaneously charge at Jellal, punching him in the face and stomach, ultimtely defeating him.

Erza is ready to give her life to stop the tower from exploding. Bella and Natsu try to stop her, but she willingly goes in. The two Mages search in the dense Etherion for Erza until they found her. They exit the Tower of Heaven, beat up and bruised but in one piece.

Bella lays and heals after her battle with Jellal. Erza's friends, Wally, Milliana, and Sho decide to leave and tour the world, saying they should know about the world. Erza holds a goodbye ceremony. Bella notes that Erza is able to cry out of both eyes now. Erza just smiles, and the two S-class Mages hug each other.

Battle of Fairy Tail arc

The teams return from the Tower of Heaven to find that Fairy Tail finished rebuilding the guild hall. Bella thinks its pretty good, but Natsu Dragneel frets that the guild doesnt feel the same.

Makarov Dreyar introduces a new member, Juvia Lockser. Bella warmly welcomes the Water Mage into the guild afterwhat she did to help during the Tower of Heaven. Makarov then introduces Gajeel, and Bella's reaction is negative. She demands to know who let him in. Erza says they should monitor Gajeel, and Bella and Makarov agrees.

The next day, a reporter named Jason from Sorceror Weekly comes to interview Fairy Tail. He apparently drank too much caffiene this morning. He gets excited when he sees Bella and says she is the "Storm Mage Who's Power Keeps Growing". Bella coldly says she prefers the Lightning Lady.

Later, Bella joins Jet and Drot, members of Team Shadow Gear, when they attack Gajeel in retaliation for his assault. Gajeel doesnt strike back.

Laxus Dreyar appears and attacks Gajeel. Bella, Jet, Droy, and Levy McGarden realize that Gajeel was not fighting back in irder to gain the trust of Fairy Tail, and they begin to attempt and stop Laxus. Irritated, he fires a lightning bolt at Levy, which js blocked by Gajeel before he grunts and walks away. Bella is approached by Laxus, who asks her how S-class is going. Bella replied by asking him how is face is doing. He leaves angrily without any other comment.

Bella heads back to the guild hall to clesr her mind with a drink. She remembers that the Fantasia Parade is coming up. Pessimistically, she wonders how bad it will be now that Laxus came back to town.

The next day, the Festival begins. Bella sits to watch the Miss Fairy Tail contest, since she is not participating. She says she wpuldnt want to humiliate herself by standing half naked in front of a bunch of guys. She adds that she can take on the high paying jobs as well as S-class.

The contest begins with Cana Alberona, then Juvia Lockser, Mirajane Strauss, Erza Scarlet, Levy, Bisca Mulan, Maryse Greenwood, and Sandra Skyheart. Before Lucy Heartfilia begins her act, Evergreen appears and turns Lucy to stone, revealing she did the same to all the other contestants.

Han Gauss, Isaiah Backburn, and Jedediah Backburn attack Evergreen, but she turns them to stone as well. Bella angrily demands that Evergreen changes all the stone statues back to normal.

Laxus appears and says that there will be a battle to determine who is the strongest. He keeps tje petrified girls as hostages to make sure no one broke the rules. They only had three hours to find and defeat Laxus and the Thunder Legion. The battlefield was Magnolia Town. With this, the four opponents leve, and Evergreen unpetrifies the three boys, saying they got to play too, but the three collapse.

Bella goes to fight with the rest of the guild, but is surprised to see that she neother Makarov can pass through. They find out that Freed Justine wrote an enchantment to keel stone statues and people over eighty inside. Bella is confused on why she cant pass through the barrier. Natsu wakes up and is unable to pass. In hushed tones, Makarov tells Bella that he suspects it has something to do with the fact that Bella abd Natsu were Dragon Slayers.

After angrily seeing the events of the battle unfold, Gajeel suddenly reveals himself to be in the gud hall this entire time. He had been chewing on the iron dishes. Seems like Fairy Tail would need glass dishes like anyone else. Gajeel cant pass through the barrier either. Natsu then attempts to free Erza, and it works, saying her artificial eye must have absorbed some of the magic. Bella deduced that if Natsu tried to free the others, it wouldnt have worked.

After Erza beats Evergreen, the girls are freed. They all go up to the upper levels where they discover that Laxus has set up Thunder Palace. Bella admits she can use the spell, but hers is nothing compared to Laxus. Bisca shoots one of the Lacrima, but they are protected by Body Link Magic. All the girls leave to fight in the battle with the exception if Bella, who still cannot pass through the barrier, Bisca who is injured, Maryse whi is healing Bisca since Porlyusica is absent, and Levy who stays to rewrite the runes.

Levy fervently works to rewrote the runes a d successfully does so. Bella, Natsu, and Gajeel split up to avoid being caught in Freed's enchantments, but they all head to the same place.

Bella manages to reach the place where Laxus was hiding just in time to see Mystogan's face revealed. It is Jellal Fernandez. He says he is not Jellal, but he knows Jellal. Laxus attacks Erza, but she Requips into Lightning Empress. Bella uses her Lightning Magic against Laxus. He rapidly overwlhelms both of them, probably killing them if not for the interferance of Gajeel.

The combination of Fire Dragon Roar, Iron Dragon Roar, and Lightning Thunderbolt has zero effect on Laxus. He reveals himself to a Second Generation Dragon Slayer, using the Lightning element. Bella steps forward and denounced Laxus, saying he is bringing shame to lightning mages around Fiore. She says theres no use hiding it anymore. She is in fact the First Generation Lightning Dragon Slayer, taught by the Lightning Queen Blitz until she disappeared in X777.

Bella begins using Lightning Dragon Slayer magic, but it still isnt enough to overpower Laxus. Laxus attempts to use Fairy Law, but it fails. He prepares, however, to annihilate Natsu but Gajeel uses his metal body as a lightning rod, even though Bella absorbed as much as she could. She has been getting a little rusty on Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic since she's been using regular lightning magic. Natsu and Bella manage to defeat Laxus, putting an end to the Battle of Fairy Tail.

Bella is a least injured of the three Dragon Slayers and will still participate in the Fantasia Parade. Laxus is excommunicated from Fairy Tail by Makarov. Bella participates in the Fantasia Parade alongside her team, and gives Laxus a symbol from his childhood along with the rest of the guild, bringing the S-class Mage to tears of regret.

Oracion Seis arc

Makarov announces that Fairy Tail will form a coalition with four other wizard guilds: Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale, Cait Shelter, and the Wild Hunt. Bella smiles as she reminisces old memories from that guild.

Bella, her team, Team Natsu, and Team Mercy are chosen to represent Fairy Tail as they are Fairy Tail's strongest team. They head out to the rendezvous point, which is the second home of Blue Pegasus Master Bob. Upon arriving, they are greeted by the Trimen, Hibiki Lates, Eve Tearm, and Ren Akatsuki. Bella tries to exit but is stopped by Ren. Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki then arrives and tries to flirt with Erza; Bella is disgusted and pretends to retch.

Erza sends Ichiya flying across the room and is intercepted by Lyon Vastia. Kaminari Kichiku angrily states that he shouldn't attack everyone that comes his way. Bella is glad to see her patona again. The boys prepare to fight, but they are stopped only by the arrival of Jura Neekis.

SHortly after Lamia Scale arrives, the Wild Hunt enters. They consist of Dominic Sylvester, an Ice Make Mage, Jordan Goldburn, the S-class Mage, Ulquinn Roaq, a user of the lost magic Arc of Time, the Exceed Nerthus, and their leader Rain Zoltice, who couldn't be more than fifteen years old. Bella barely remembers any of them, until the arrival of Gwen Pearson, the half werewolf Satan Soul Mage, and the only daughter of the guild master, Scott Pearson.

Grand Magic Games arc

Bella is chosen to face off against Mermaid Heel's strongest wizard, Kagura Mikazuchi. The match starts off with Bella shooting lightning at Kagura, but the Mermaid Heel Mage effortlessly dodges. After firing a few lightning bolts, Bella resorts to using her weapons and Requips katanas, and Kagura blocks the blows with her sheathed sword. Bella wonders why Kagura isn't unsheathing her sword. Kagura sends her flying into the wall, but Bella pushes off the wall back at Kagura and sends her flying at a tall statue. Kagura uses her Gravity Change to make Bella's lightweight armor ten times heavier.

Bella explains that she never puts on her gear; she Requips into it. Kagura doesn't understand why Bella is saying this, but Bella Requips into normal clothes and the opponent understands, but its too late as Bella catched her off guard and strikes her with her swords. They duel once more, with Kagura still keeping her sword sheathed. Bella attacks with lightning, then pierces Kagura through her chest, defeating her. Bella triumphantly states a fairy can be as hard as iron.

Bella watches the Naval Battle and notes Aquarius was doing what Lucy wanted her to do for once. After Minerva Orland brutally and sadistically attacks Lucy and drops her out of the sphere, Bella is angered and prepares to attack the Sabertooth Mage, but her team, minus Rogue, comes to Minerva's aid. Erza tells them that they will regret making an enemy out of Fairy Tail, then Bella shouts and shoots the water sphere with lightning, causing it to explode. She grabs Sting by his shirt and whispers that next time she'll blast him.

During the tag battle, the rules were bended because the crowd wanted to see Bella, Natsu Dragneel, and Gajeel Redfox vs. Sting Eucliffe, Rogue Cheney, and Terra Carbonne. Bella wonders what chaos would occur with six Dragon Slayers in the ring. She then dishes out a lightning attack against all three. The Sabertooth Dragon Slayers charge at the Fairy Tail Dragon Slayers, but Bella punches Terra back. She then focuses on the Earth Dragon Slayer. Bella Requips two swords and Terra turns her arms into swords. Bella deduces that Terra's use of magic is similar to that of Gajeel's.

Terra uses Earth Dragon Ground Lifting but Bella destroys it using Lightning Dragon Roar and escapes the explosion by flying with Lightning Dragon Wings. Gajeel had just sent Rogue flying, and Bella kicks the Shadow Dragon Slayer in the face in Natsu's direction before wresting Terra. As Natsu runs at Sting, holding Rogue, Bella hurls Terra at Sting, causing the two to collide. Natsu adds Rogue to the pile, and the Fairy Tail Dragon Slayers hit them with a combination of Fire Dragon Wing Attack, Iron Dragon Roar, and Lightning Dragon Thunder Bolt. The audience is shocked upon seeing the Triple Dragons being handled in such a way.

Bella doubts the three were able to kill their dragons, and the Triple Dragons active White, Shadow, and Earth Drive while Jiemma declared the battle as good as over.

In Earth Drive, Terra can move in the ground, but Bella uses Lightning Dragon Wings to go airborne, getting out of range of Terra's attacks. Seeing Natsu and Gajeel gaining an upper hand against Sting and Rogue, Bella states its her cue and she dives downward and punches Terra in the face. She grabs Terra's arms and throws her against the other two Sabertooth Dragon Slayers, and the Fairy Tail Dragon Slayers continue to pound on them.

Sting, Rogue, and Terra get up after their pounding and activate their Dragon Force. Sting tells Rogue to stay back. He is now much stronger as he starts pounding on Natsu and Gajeel. Bella attempts to attack Sting, but Rogue restrains her using shadows and begins constricting her. She begins to lose air as she watches Sting pound on the other two. He then stands above the two defeated Dragon Slayers, and Rogue drops Bella, believing that Sting won. But Fairy Tail isn't finished yet. Natsu and Gajeel then argue about the position of Sting's pivot leg while attacking, and Bella dully states they are idiots. Natsu then knocks Gajeel into a mine cart and sent him rolling. Bella kicks the remaining mine cart down so she can still battle the Triple Dragons.

Natsu starts fighting Sting, and Bella takes on Rogue and Terra. Rogue states he doesn't fight girls, so Bella shocks him and kicks him down, stating she can see why. Both attacks her with Dragons Roar, and Bella effortlessly dodges both. Bella joins Natsu and separating the Sabertooth opponents. The Triple Dragons regroup and preform a Unison Raid: Holy Shadow Dragon's Earth Fang, but Natsu and Bella preform the Unison Raid: Flaming Lightning Striking Blade to counter it, creating a major explosion. When the dust disperses, Sting, Rogue, and Terra fall down, defeated. Fairy Tail wins.

On the last day of the Grand Magic Games, Bella is pitted against Fleyta Samon against Sabertooth, who is widely known as "Echidna". She summons and controls her monsters using her flute, but Bella is able to beat every single one. Due to experiencing high levels of sound during her battle with Kaminari at Galuna Island, Fleyta's flute doesnt do as much damage as its supposed to. Bella wins and earns Fairy Tail five points.

Later, a mildly injured Bella stands with Gajeel against Terra and Rogue. Since Bella and Gajeel have already fought against Terra and Rogue respectively, they switch opponents, now having Bella go up against Rogue while Gajeel versed Terra.

Luck is on Bella's side. She knocks Rogue a few times before having a conversation about comrades. Rogue is then possessed by his shadow and starts attacking Bella, whose defense isnt bad but the shadow somehow still gets to her.

Rogue chokes Bella then leaves her for his shadows, Bella starts absorbing tje shadows. She states that the Triplet Dragons of Sabertooth didnt admire the Dragon Slayer trio of Fairy Tail, they feared them. She says she will show him just how terrifying she really is, no holding back. By eating the shadows, she had achieved Lightning Shadow Dragon Mode.

The fight does not go well for even the possessed Rogue as Bella now has the ability to travel as a shadow. She is even able to pull Rogue out of his shadow. After throwing him into the air, Bella uses her Second Origin Lightning Dragon Roar to defeat him. As he falls to the ground, Bella takes Rogue's sword and holds it above her head as a token of her victory as she us declared the victor of the battle.

As Rogue lays defeated, Frosch begs Bella not to kill him. Bella puts the sword down and pats the Exceed on the head, assuring her that she wouldnt kill him. Bella watches Jura Neekis knock out Orga Nanagear in a single strike, then watches Lacus and Jura battle. After this, she sees the white mark of Sabertooth in the air and hears Sting call for the Fairy Tail members standing. Bella leaves to fight him, sayung she would kick more Dragon Slayer butt.

Bella stands with Laxus, Gajeel, Juvia, Erza, and Gray against Sting, even though her armor was cracked and almost entirely annihilated. Sting activates White Drive and approaches the Fairy Tail Mages. He falls to his knees and suddenly surrenders, much to the surprise of the opponents. He is shocked with his action, and Fairy Tail wins the Grand Magic Games.

Bella and Erza approach Sting to question his actions. He replies he wanted to see his Exceed, Lector, again, but felt that either way, he wouldn't see him again. The S-class Mages disagree and reveal Millianna holding Lector. The Dragon Slayer and Exceed tearfully reunite.

Shadow Hunter arc

Makarov Dreyar gathers Fairy Tail together and announced that the Allied Forces will deal with the dark guild, Shadow Hunter. Jace and Sebastian Dispel say that they are former members of the guild and know the "passcode" to the guild. Bella asks which team will be sent, and Makarov sends Team Natsu, Team Bella, and Team Mercy to the Wild Hunt guild hall.

The Fairy Tail teams arrive at the Wild Hunt where Rain Thunderbane, Jordan Goldburn, and Dominic Sylvester were waiting. The other representatives arrive: from Blue Pegasus, Ichiya, Nichiya, Hibiki Lates, Eve Team, and Ren Akatsuki, from Lamia Scale, Jura, Lyon Vastia, Sherry Blendy, and Kaminari Kichiku, and from Sabertooth, Sting Eucliffe, Lector, Rogue Cheney, Frosch, Terra Carbonne, Orissa, and Yukino Agria.

Bella tells everyone that Jace and Sebastian D. knew where the Shadow Hunter guild hall. The two brothers lead them to the entrance in the darker parts of the woods. Jace gives the last password he remembered, but it fails. Sebastian gives a different password but it doesn't work either. A loud speaker bursts from the ground and Umbris Waylay, the guild master's voice mocks them and shoots lightning. Bella eats the lightning and shoots Lightning Dragon Roar, but the loud speaker disappears.

The Allied Forces retreat to the Wild Hunt guild hall. Bella is upset that she failed, but Rogue manages to calm her down. Rain remembers that Virgo can dig tunnels and suggests Lucy and Mercy summon both Virgos to drill underground.

The Allied Forces return to the blocked tunnel to the Shadow Hunter guild hall. Lucy summons Virgo and Mercy summons Dark Virgo to drill a tunnel. It goes alright until they reach an iron barrier. Bella remarks that it is too bad Gajeel Redfox wasn't there. They are suddenly pushed back by ice. A girl reveals herself and introduces herself as Iciclis Sylvester, Dominic Sylvester's sister. Dominic goes to deal with his sister while the others continue to try to get through. A blast suddenly emits from the iron and the forces are separated.

Bella is stuck with Kaminari, Rogue, Zeus, and Frosch. They are approached by the Sword Mage Amidala Ashley. Bella Requips her stingers to swords, and charges at Amidala. Amidala fires swords at Bella. She blocks the attack but is forced backward. Zeus enters Battle Mode and hacks at Amidala with his axe, but she blasts him back.

Kaminari begins battling Amidala and almost distracts her with thunder, but Amidala stabs Kaminari and she's forced to go back. Bella and Rogue use their Dragon Slayer Magic to protect their friends, but Amidala blasts both back. Frosch stands in front of them, but she prepares to kill the Exceed. Bella throws herself in front of the blast, taking full effects. She gains a mortal wound in her stomach and blood pours fast. She may have gotten injured further if Rogue didn't catch her before she fell to the ground. He asks her why she risked her life for Frosch, and she replies that they're all friends.

Rogue defeats Amidala with his Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic then returns to Bella's side. She hears Hibiki on his telekinesis. He says he has located everyone. She asks him who was closer to her, Wendy or Maryse. Hibiki answers that Wendy was the closer, so Rogue proceeds to take her to Wendy.

Natsu, Mercy, Sting, and Wendy are battling Rune Macteen, a Mage who uses Requip: the Knight. The three create a diversion for Wendy to heal Bella. A now strong and healed Bella preforms Lightning Dragon Roar against Rune, who was too slow to Requip into Lightning Emporer Armor, proving that no one changes clothes faster than Erza Scarlet.

The small group is reunited with Jace, Terra, Orissa, Sebastian D, Sebastian L, and Rakshasa. They proceed to look for Umbris Wayay, the master of Shadow Hunter after Hibiki hacked into the Shadow Hunter security system and was able to retrieve the password before the backup power came on. The password Hibiki gave them is correct, and the group is able to enter the guild hall, where Umbris had been waiting for them.

Bella and Sting reprimand the guild master for just sitting around while his Mages were fighting and were defeated, but Rogue reminds them that its a Dark Guild. Umbris recognizes Jace and Sebastian D and proceeds to attack him, but Bella and Terra defend them. Umbris then summons his Shadowmen.

Bella Requips her stingers for two swords and dues multiple Shadowmen at once. She finds out that Shadowmen have superhuman strength, agility, and stamina. Jace says that that it is possible to defeat Shadowmen, you just had to harm the summoner. It's a mad dash to try and hit Umbris, until Isaiah comes in and uses his Acid Magic to attack Umbris. A Shadowman absorbs the spell, but Jedediah hits him from behind, then Gray, Lyon, and Dominic hit him with all the ice they had. Bella executes Lightning Dragon Roar along with the other Dragon Slayers to defeat Umbris and disperse the Shadowmen.

The group reunites with the rest of the Forces and learn that they were able to take out Serpentine, a lesser dark guild under the employment of Shadow Hunter as well as the former guild of the Backburn twins. With the Magic Council arresting members of Shadow Hunter and Serpentine, the Allied Forces head home.
